Dr. Monica Udaykumar received her Bachelors in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behavior at McMaster University in Hamilton. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Canadian Optometric Association. She has completed training in Advanced Studies in contact lenses to have a thorough background on fitting specialty contact lenses, such as: orthokeratology lenses for myopia control, hybrid & scleral lenses for extreme dry eye and specialty gas-permeable lenses for keratoconus patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the great outdoors, weightlifting, practicing yoga or exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.
